At The Seeds of Change, we are adapting our working methods and procedures on a continual basis to reflect the government’s latest advice and ruling around Covid. Our aim throughout the pandemic has been to continue to operate on a ‘business as usual’ basis as far as we possibly can whilst protecting the health and safety of our staff and learners. Here we share our latest information on our Covid procedure and way of working as we enter the Spring Term 2022.
- Our team are fortunate to work in an outdoor environment for the majority of the day, but will continue to wear masks when supporting young people indoors and will encourage learners to do this also. Hand sanitizer stations, temperature checks on arrival and distancing where possible will continue to be in place. Our team complete LFT twice a week and a cleaning system is in place at the end of each session and end of the day.
- As you are aware the recent Omicron variant is spreading quicker than previous versions of the virus and although we will do our utmost to continue with sessions and support your young people, there may be occasions where sessions will need to be deferred due to staff illness.
- If your young person is unable to attend due to testing positive with COVID or lives in a household where someone has tested positive then a virtual session will be offered in order for the support to be continued and the lines of communication maintained. If a virtual session is not possible then the session will unfortunately be lost, however we would be happy to arrange a well-being call at a convenient time. I would also like to remind you that learners can access our website, Facebook & Instagram Page and our Learner Line to keep in touch too.
